Hytale: What Minigames to Expect (BedWars!)

Hypixel Studios just dropped a bomb on the video game industry, with fans saying “Minecraft 2” has arrived. In case you missed it, here’s the trailer.

Hytale seems like basically Minecraft, Stardew Valley, Legend of Zelda, and Skyrim in one game. And with a trailer like this, it’s hard to not believe that Minecraft has truly found its’ successor. However, we do not know enough about Hytale to fully grasp the concept of a unique RPG/sandbox game that is the one Hypixel Studios is claiming. Of course, people have been searching for Easter Eggs high and low in the trailer. In taking my own expeditions from my own chair, I located a little nugget of gold that blew me away.

BedWars is easily the most popular game on the Minecraft Hypixel server network, and its popularity has caused it to transcend games. It certainly seems like BedWars is returning in Hytale! But that’s not the only game making a comeback! Build Battle, Paintball, Walls, Blitz Survival Games, and SkyWars are returning as well. You can see this by looking at the logos on the pedestals of the statues located in the main lobby of what seems to be the Hytale equivalent to Hypixel (Minecraft).
